While My Hero Academia is a great manga and anime, there seems to be a noticeable lack of video games for it. However, Funimation is working on solving this issue, starting with this mobile game called My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero. Baby steps first, don’t you know?

Looks surprisingly good for a mobile game.

Funimation, in cooperation with Sony Pictures Television (SPT) Games, officially announces My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero. This game will be the first ever My Hero Academia mobile RPG game available outside Japan. In fact, this will be the first My Hero Academia game to see release outside Japan ever. The game currently has no specific release date aside from Spring 2021. However, gamers can pre-register for the game on its website, The App Store for iOS, or on Google Play for Android. Even better, if you pre-register, it grants you in-game rewards for doing so. The more players pre-register for the game, the higher the rewards, so there’s definitely a bit of an incentive to get more people to sign up for it.

Currently, the only details include the ability to play as Class 1-A heroes like Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki; Pro Heroes like All Might and Endeavour, and even villains like Stain. Players will be able to build their own team roster in a story mode, and use that team to take on villains like Shigaraki and the Nomu.
