Are you looking for new releases in Film or Television to watch this weekend of October 28th!? Well, THS has you covered in our weekly series! So, make sure to come back each week as we compile all of our recommendations for you to check out on your days off.

However, I wanted to break down this list and make it a little more personal. Kind of like when you walk into a bookstore and see the wall of employee recommendations. So, I’ll be breaking down this list as to what we at THS are watching, not necessarily every single thing releasing.

JESSICA’S WATCHING

So, I gotta keep it spooky for Halloween weekend! First I’m catching up on all the episodes of Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities that dropped on Netflix this week. Sticking with Netflix, I also want to watch the new Henry Selick/Jordan Peele movie Wendell & Wild. Also, Barbarian hit HBO Max this week! It’s my favorite horror movie of the year so far. If you missed it in theaters, definitely queue it up for Halloween weekend!

LINSAY’S WATCHING

Blue Bloods is my must-watch on Friday Nights on CBS/Paramount+. While I’m on Paramount+ I can watch Star Trek: Prodigy returns from an 8-month hiatus. Like JJ I’ll be squeezing in Tales of the Jedi on Disney+. Oh, I haven’t admitted it, but I love Great British Bake Off on Netflix.

LAURA’S WATCHING

I’m watching Trick R Treat in theaters!

DARRYL’S WATCHING

So, I’m at MCM Comic Con so I won’t have a lot of time to watch, but I’m making time to continue with The Peripheral on Prime Video starring Chloe Grace Moretz. I’m also working through The Bastard Son and The Devil Himself.
