As it turns out, Ahsoka Tano isn’t going to be the only famous Star Wars character in her upcoming titular Disney+ series. We’re going to get major characters from Star Wars Rebels making an appearance as well. These cameos include one Sabine Wren, who’s going to make the jump from animation to live-action with this along with all other Star Wars Rebels characters. This is especially fitting given Ahsoka’s history with the Spectres. In fact, Sabine’s live-action actress has just teased some “interesting” tidbits about her upcoming reunion with Ahsoka in the upcoming series.

GamesRadar+ has just revealed some very interesting info about the upcoming Ahsoka series for Disney+. According to them, Natasha Liu Bordizzo (who will play Sabine Wren in live-action) has just revealed some “interesting” info about her meeting with Ahsoka Tano. Not with them though. She revealed this info during an interview with SFX magaine. You can read Bordizzo’s exact words below:
I think there’s a deep level of respect that Sabine has for Ahsoka, as someone to learn from. In the show they’ve been through a lot in the time that has passed, some of which we know about, some of which we don’t. Their quests kind of end up overlapping, bringing them back together, and there’s tension and there’s things they’ve been through that they need to work out. Their reunion’s interesting!
Based on Bordizzo’s words, it seems like Sabine Wren and Ahsoka Tano will have had quite a bit of history together. Even before they meet in the series, mind you. Certainly, their “overlapping” quests sound like they’ll certainly team up at some point. However, that “tension” might indicate that their teamwork is just a bit clenched.
