You all remember when Mob Psycho 100 started hyping season 3 with that Teru character trailer, right? Well, now it seems that it’s Arataka Reigen’s turn to get his own time in the spotlight. Don’t believe me? Then believe in Reigen for yourself below as you behold his sensuously (at least, according to Tumblr) panicky voice:

The Almost-Sexyman Winner Has His Day

Perhaps the start of Reigen Sexyman 9000?

Warner Bros. Japan Anime just released this latest character trailer for Mob Psycho 100 III on YouTube, this time featuring the fake psychic detective with a heart of gold: Arataka Reigen. Said trailer shows a just over a 40-second-long procession of Reigen’s best moments from the previous 2 seasons. Apparently, said moments consist entirely of Reigen saying/shouting Mob’s name in various tones, most of them panicky. A perfect recollection of his best moments, if I do say so myself. Especially considering that Reigen was indeed very panicky throughout most of the anime.

Reigen’s very own character trailer ends with a reminder as to when we’ll get to see him in action. Mob Psycho 100 III will make its global premiere on October 5, 2022. This anime though is also going to be a Crunchyroll exclusive. With Crunchyroll’s shiny new paywall up, that means if you want to watch season 3 of this epic anime, then you’ll need to pay up for a premium account. All we can do at this point is hope that Crunchyroll will allow us to watch the first 3 episodes for free (with ads) as a seasonal sampler.

I see stuff flying around that shouldn’t be flight-capable.

Mob Psycho 100 III is the 3rd season of the anime series, which itself is the anime adaptation of the supernatural action comedy manga of the same name by ONE (One-Punch Man). Bones (Fullmetal Alchemist, Bungo Stray Dogs, My Hero Academia) is the animation studio behind season 3, as they have been for all previous seasons. Takahiro Hasui is the director for season 3, with original director Yuzuru Tachikawa serving as chief director. All other main staff and voice cast are reprising their roles from the previous seasons. Lastly, Crunchyroll is licensing season 3 of this anime for its NA release.

As for what Mob Psycho 100 III is about? Unfortunately, we don’t have an official synopsis for season 3 right now. However, we do have an official synopsis for the anime as a whole from Crunchyroll. Check it out below:

“Kageyama Shigeo, a.k.a. “Mob,” is a boy who has trouble expressing himself, but who happens to be a powerful esper. Mob is determined to live a normal life and keeps his ESP suppressed, but when his emotions surge to a level of 100%, something terrible happens to him! As he’s surrounded by false espers, evil spirits, and mysterious organizations, what will Mob think? What choices will he make? The anime based on the original story by ONE, the idol of the webcomic world and creator of One-Punch Man, is coming your way with animation by leading animation studio Bones!”

You can catch up on season 1 and 2 of Mob Psycho 100 on Crunchyroll or Funimation.
