As it turns out, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will be a very NSFW anime when it premieres on Netflix. Why else would the trailer be so very much NSFW in virtually every way possible? Don’t believe me? Then check out the trailer for yourself below. Needless to say though, it is definitely NSFW, so a word of warning here before you watch it. Okay, warning over, so hit it.

Too NSFW to Touch?

You know when the trailer makes every effort to tell you its NSFW-ness, you know you’re in for a wild ride.

Netflix just shared that official NSFW trailer for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners on YouTube. Said NSFW trailer definitely lives up to its name. The blood and gore is pretty much par of the course for media these days. No one is really bothered anymore by explosions of gore splashing blood everywhere. No, what’s truly NSFW about this trailer is the nudity and sex. The trailer actually shows a group of women straight-up having sex with a man (complete with nipples), showing that Studio Trigger is definitely not afraid to depict the NSFW portions of the original Cyberpunk 2077 game onscreen in this anime. All set to the tune of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 to boot for added levels of a mind screw.

Even better, the release date is bundled together with all of the NSFW content. Apparently, we’ll finally get to see what Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is all about on September 13, 2022. Of course, this anime will be a Netflix exclusive. If you want to watch Studio Trigger and CD Projekt Red’s collaboration anime for yourself, then you’ll need to shell out cash for a Netflix account.
