Chainsaw Man is really revving up the hype these days, especially with the new trailer they released just now. Don’t believe me? Then check out the chaos and carnage for yourself below:

All the Animated Blood and Gore You Could Ever Want

No censors. Only chainsaw dog dreams.

MAPPA’s official YouTube channel just released this epic new trailer for the upcoming anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man. Fans of the original manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto will remember how bloodily violent and gory the story is, and this trailer doesn’t disappoint. The first scene the trailer shows a pile of dismembered bodies in a warehouse, all splashed with gallons of dried blood. Oh, and the scene after that features just as much fresh blood, but this time with stray organs scattered around. Yeah, those of you who were afraid that MAPPA might censor the blood and gore of the manga? I believe this trailer will alleviate those fears. Heck, there are even a few seconds of Power running nude across a road in the countryside somewhere, just like in the manga. I think it’s safe to say that MAPPA isn’t censoring anything out of this anime adaptation.

Really, the only thing this trailer is missing is a more precise release date. All we know for now is that Chainsaw Man has a release window of October 2022 and that it will make its debut on Crunchyroll. We’ll just have to wait for a more specific release date later. Perhaps MAPPA might reveal that in their upcoming Chainsaw Man panel at Crunchyroll Expo this weekend on August 7, 2022? Well, we shall soon see.
