Masashi Ando’s First Time Helming!

It looks like Princess Mononoke meets Lone Wolf and Cub here.

The Deer King will soon make its debut in US theaters. However, the exact date depends on what version of the anime film you want to see. The anime film will premiere nationwide on July 15, 2022 in select theaters. However, Fathom Fan Preview screenings start 2 days early on July 13, 2022 in the original Japanese audio with English subtitles. If you want to watch the anime film in English dub though, then you’ll have to wait a day later on July 14, 2022 for it. You don’t have to worry about missing out though if you can’t catch the Fathom Fan Preview screenings though, since the official screening is only a day or 2 later.

You can purchase tickets for The Deer King now at Fathom Events. Alternatively, you can also purchase tickets at the anime film’s official website. Regardless of where you purchase tickets though, this seems like an anime film that will be worth the money.
