The team behind Green Hell is proud to announce their Spirits of Amazonia Part 2 update. The update went live on June 22, 2021; so you should already be seeing the update by now. If you haven’t, check your Steam download section if you are using Steam. It’s probably waiting for you there.

Apparently, dual-wielding is the popular thing now.

So what does Spirits of Amazonia Part 2 bring us for Green Hell? Well, as the name suggests, it continues the story started in the single-player mode with the original Spirits of Amazonia update. This update adds a new village, new legends, and new quests for you to follow. The update also revised some old locations, hopefully improving them.

Roadmaps are useful.

However, the star of this Spirits of Amazonia Part 2 update is a new enemy in the form of the Thug, as you can see above. The Thug is a fearsome masked enemy with a lot of HP, and dual-wields a pair of stone axes. Because why use 1 axe when you can use 2? You’re going to need to craft some pretty good weapons to deal with this guy. That, or fight smart.

This latest Green Hell update also introduces 2 new animals into the game map. 1 is just an adorable baby tapir that you can hunt for food and hides. Hides that you can use to make that new drum. The other new animal is a black panther. That’s going to be a lot more difficult to hunt than that baby tapir, mostly because it will be hunting you most of the time. Nothing like turning the tables on the hunter, eh?

Conclusion

Green Hell is continuing the story they began with their new Spirits of Amazonia Part 2 update. They’ve even got a neat new trailer for us. There’s a new village, new quests to do, a new enemy to fight, and some new animals to hunt…and to hunt you. Good luck to all you playing this neat little survival indie game. You’re going to need it.
