No eating people! That message is taped to Eddie Brock’s wall as a reminder to his alien symbiote in the first teaser trailer for Venom: Let There be Carnage. Something tells us though, that people will, in fact, be eaten in the sequel to Sony’s 2018 Venom. You can watch the new teaser above.

From the studio: Tom Hardy returns to the big screen as the lethal protector Venom, one of MARVEL’s greatest and most complex characters. Directed by Andy Serkis, the film also stars Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris and Woody Harrelson, in the role of the villain Cletus Kasady/Carnage.

There’s a lot to unpack in in those two and a half minutes. Eddie is clearly learning to live with Venom, but there are definitely some growing pains. Cletus Kasady, however, is still in prison as he was in the end-credits scene of the original film. In fact he was set for execution by lethal injection… but that goes, obviously, horribly wrong. So just what will Venom: Let There Be Carnage have in store for Eddie?
