Birds of Prey, DC’s film full of femme fatales, hits theaters February 7, 2020. Check out the first official trailer, here and now!

Birds of Prey follows the events of Suicide Squad and Harley Quinn’s split from the Joker. The all-female main cast sees Harley join forces with Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya. Together they’ll try to take on crime lord Roman Sionis, otherwise known as Black Mask.

Birds Of Prey showcases Harley Quinn

Margot Robbie became enamored with her Suicide Squad character of Harley Quinn. So much so, in fact, that Robbie became a producer to ensure that the film found its way to theaters. Warner Bros, though it took some time, eventually gave the film the green light.

Robbie, of course, reprises her Harley Quinn role. Joining her are Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Huntress); Jurnee Smollet-Bell (Black Canary); and Rosie Perez (Montoya). Rounding out the main cast is none other than Ewan McGregor.  Though he’ll reprise his Star Wars role as Obi-Wan Kenobi, he took some time to venture into the DC universe. He’ll portray unhinged crime boss Black Mask, villain to the Birds of Prey.

Birds of Prey

Warner Bros kicked off its big Birds of Prey marketing push by releasing a series of new posters for the film. You can see those HERE. The Birds of Prey have traditionally been a band of Gotham’s female superheroes. Notwithstanding, Warner Bros. has chosen to make its more popular, cinematic character of Harley Quinn the film’s main focus. Expect Harley to continue battling her inner demons as the bad girl does good.
