Fans of the original Spy x Family manga by Tatsuya Endo might recall the Cruise Ship Arc. It was by far one of the best arcs of the manga due to the action, drama, action, violence, action, comedy, and did I mention action? Yeah, when season 2 of the anime finally reaches that arc, it will be some of the most action-packed episodes yet. Thus, you can explain why the anime would want to release a new PV trailer hyping up that arc in this season. Don’t believe me? Then why not check out that PV trailer below, and get hyped for yourself?

Spy x Family Season 2: Cruise Ship Arc PV Trailer Details

Anya: the appropriate reaction to a mid-20th century cruise ship.

Toho Animation (as well as the official Spy x Family Twitter account) has just released a new PV trailer for the upcoming Cruise Ship Arc of Spy x Family season 2 on their official YouTube channel. Said PV trailer, of course, shows off the titular cruise ship of this arc. As you can see, Wit Studio and CloverWorks are very eager to show off their CGI for it. Indeed, said CGI is pretty impressive. It’s the kind of high-quality CGI you normally only find in big-budget anime films like the Detective Conan anime films.

Of course though, this PV trailer also gives us a teaser as to what’s going to happen aboard said cruise ship. As in the original Spy x Family manga, this arc of season 2 will feature plenty of action. Mostly featuring Yor Briar in her night job as Thorn Princess. Only this time, instead of an assassin, she’ll be a bodyguard for once.

So when will we get to see your bodyguarding on a cruise ship? Well, this PV trailer reveals that the Cruise Ship Arc will set sail on November 4, 2023. As of this writing, that’s just next week, so you won’t have long to wait. You can watch this episode only on Crunchyroll.
