While this is pretty cool, it is a nightmare for some collectors because they have to decide what pieces to add to their collections. Well, today I am going to look at one of those items; the Avengers: Infinity War – Iron Man MK 50 Legends in 3-Dimensions Bust from Diamond Select Toys.

Thanks to our friends over at Diamond Select Toys I was able to take a look and review the Avengers: Infinity War – Iron Man (MK50) Legends in 3-Dimensions Bust. This half-scale bust is approximately 10 inches and pays homage to Iron Man’s MK 50 armor in Avengers: Infinity War. The Iron Man MK 50 Bust is limited to 1000 pieces and has an SRP of $200. The Avengers: Infinity War – Iron Man MK 50 Legends in 3-Dimensions Bust is available now at diamondselecttoys.com, entertainmentearth.com, and some local comic shops.

For those who follow my statue and bust reviews, you know that most of mine are Star Wars-related. But today I am changing it up a little with my thoughts on the Avengers: Infinity War – Iron Man MK 50 Legends in 3-Dimensions Bust. When doing my reviews I look at a few things. Those things are packaging, sculpt and paint quality, and displayability. Also, when doing my reviews I like to get the negatives out of the way first, but I can tell you right now this bust really doesn’t have many and the ones I do bring up are pretty petty. So here you go, my cons and pros of the Avengers: Infinity War – Iron Man MK 50 Legends in 3-Dimensions Bust.

Cons Of The Avengers: Infinity War – Iron Man MK 50 Legends in 3-Dimensions Bust

So like many of the Gentle Giant Ltd and Diamond Select Toys items I have reviewed, there are really very few negatives about the Avengers: Infinity War – Iron Man MK 50 Legends in 3-Dimensions Bust. But there are I couple of things that I need to put put there that caught my eye.

• If you are a keep-it-in-the-box collector or like to display the box with your busts the summary that tells you about the Iron Man bust is really hard to read. It looks as if they tried to do an Iron Man look to the text but the color is not too bright and fades into the black box.
• While the paint job looks amazing there are a few spots mostly on the back of the base where the paint was put on to light and looks like it needs another coat. Also, there are a couple of spots where the paint bleeds over to another color. These issues are really hard to notice and do not take away from the look of the bust.
• There are also a few small indentations on the bust and base. (these could be different from bust to bust).

Pros Of The Avengers: Infinity War – Iron Man MK 50 Legends in 3-Dimensions Bust

Now that the cons are over let’s take a look at all the good stuff. And the great thing about the Avengers: Infinity War – Iron Man MK 50 Legends in 3-Dimensions Bust there are quite a few good things about it. Here is a look at what I loved about this bust.

• The Iron Man MK 50 Bust is packaged well. The bust is in a styrofoam block and has plastic around it to protect the paint.
• If you are a keep-it-in-the-box person, the box comes with a picture of the bust on the front. Also, the back of the box gives you a brief summary of the statue. The front of this box will look good displayed in your collection.
• This bust is very easy to set up since there are no removable pieces and is ready to be displayed right out of the box.
• The bust sculpt and details are amazing. The creative team for this Iron Man bust did a great job making it look like it came straight from the movie.
• Aside from the small cons I had the paint job looks amazing and captures the look of the MK 50 suit in extensive detail. From the shine of his armor to the glowing look of his eyes and arc reactor this piece will look good in any collection.
• Iron Man’s base is weighted really well making it very sturdy and hard to tip over while displayed.
• Each statue comes with an individually numbered certificate of authenticity.

My Final Thoughts

Overall the Avengers: Infinity War – Iron Man MK 50 Legends in 3-Dimensions Bust ranks high among all of the bust reviews I have done. The details, sculpt, and colors on this bring the Iron Man bust alive and make it a highlight in any collection. The few negatives that I have pointed out are not enough to take away from this bust and make me say stay away from it.
