As you may know, Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel at the Disneyland Resort has been undergoing a transformation into Pixar Place Hotel. When finished, this will be the first fully Pixar-themed hotel in the United States!

The Pixar Place Hotel Transformation is a major renovation project that will change the look and feel of the hotel. The project will include a new lobby, guest rooms, and amenities. The new lobby will be inspired by Pixar films and will feature a variety of interactive elements.

The guest rooms will also be themed after Pixar films and will include a variety of amenities, such as flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, and coffee makers. The hotel will also have a new pool, fitness center, and spa. The Disneyland Resort has recently announced that the reimagining will be complete by this winter. On top of that, they have shared new details on the amenities and personal touches of Pixar throughout.

The lobby will continue to evolve over the next few months. However, it will begin to blend Pixar imagery with the hotel’s current setting. The front desk will have iconic images from Pixar Films with larger-than-life character-curated artwork.

Then, this winter, guests will be greeted by the Pixar Lamp playfully balancing atop its ball as they enter the lobby!  There will also be a whimsical, colorful character-inspired mobile hanging above, welcoming guests to the new, reimagined lobby atrium.

However, later this summer guests can splash around in an all-new water play inspired by “Finding Nemo. You can see Crush the sea turtle atop a 186-foot-long waterslide, as well as Hank hanging out at the pop-jet splash pad, and more!

Later this year, there will also be a family court added to the deck full of activities! These interactive games and free play celebrate favorites from Pixar Shorts “La Luna,” “Bao,” “For the Birds,” and “Burrow.” Then, when it’s time to relax, guests may enjoy food and drinks under the love-struck umbrellas from “The Blue Umbrella.”

This fall the hotel will open, Great Maple. This is a new restaurant featuring Southern California-based modern American food that specializes in playful takes on upscale comfort food. The restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day.
