Are small towns or big cities scarier? If you’re running from Ghostface, it looks like it doesn’t matter much.

The teaser for Scream 6 is officially here. As a few of the Woodsboro survivors find themselves on a New York subway train, they soon realize they’re not alone.

And in a city of millions, no one hears you scream.

Here’s the official synopsis for Scream 6 from Paramount Pictures.

Following the latest Ghostface killings, the four survivors leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter. In Scream VI, Melissa Barrera (“Sam Carpenter”), Jasmin Savoy Brown (“Mindy Meeks-Martin”), Mason Gooding (“Chad Meeks-Martin”), Jenna Ortega (“Tara Carpenter”), Hayden Panettiere (“Kirby Reed”) and Courteney Cox (“Gale Weathers”) return to their roles in the franchise alongside Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra, and Samara Weaving.

This upcoming entry marks the sixth film in the horror franchise, which recently returned with a fifth installment earlier in 2022. The screenplay comes from James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick, with Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin returning to direct.

Scream 6 will premiere in theaters March 10, 2023. Until then, check back to THS for more updates.
