Every wedding has a story. No, not the love story of the happy couple. The story of a few rude, drunk, weird, or just plain unwelcome wedding guests. Meet The People We Hate At The Wedding.

The new comedy film on Prime Video adapts the book by Grant Ginder. The movie follows dysfunctional American siblings Alice (Kristen Bell) and Paul (Ben Platt), along with their ever-optimistic mom (Allison Janney). They’re invited to the British wedding of their estranged half-sister Eloise (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) as a chance for them to reconnect as–more or less–adults, and learn to love each other like they once did.

(Easier said than done.)

The film also stars Dustin Milligan, Isaach De Bankolé, Karan Soni, Tony Goldwyn, Jorma Taccone, Julian Ovenden, and John Macmillan. It comes from writers Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin and Wendy Molyneux and director Claire Scanlon.

The People We Hate At The Wedding premiere on Prime Video November 18.
