Well, it looks like One Piece Film: Red is going places these days. It certainly bodes very well for this anime film when we finally get to officially see it in theaters. How else do you explain the prestigious Animation Is Film Festival selecting it as their centerpiece film?
Set Sail for One Piece Film: Red at AIF!
The Animation Is Film (AIF) Festival in Los Angeles, California, USA is proud to reveal its selection to be the centerpiece film at the said festival: One Piece Film: Red. Specifically, the festival will screen the English dub version of the anime film. I don’t know why they went with the English dub version instead of the original Japanese audio version with English subtitles, but I’m not the one who picked that particular version of this anime film to the screen.
At least we’re getting to see it before it actually officially premieres in theaters on November 4, 2022. If you’re a really big One Piece fan, then this is your chance to watch the anime film before said theatrical debut.
As for when, where, and how you can watch One Piece Film: Red early? Well, this anime film will premiere on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 6:30 P.M. (PDT) at TCL Chinese 6 Theatres. You can purchase tickets directly from Animation Is Film Festival’s official website. A general admission ticket will cost you $15, while a senior admission (Ages 62+) or child admission (Ages 3-12) ticket will only set you back $12. Either way though, it’s pretty cheap for a ticket. So if you live in California or just really want to watch this One Piece anime film, then this might be the ticket for you.

One Piece Film: Red isn’t the only animated film news AIF has for us today. According to them, Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio will be the featured closing night film. It will also be this dark and slightly unsettling version of the classic children’s story’s first screening in the US. So if you want to view it early, then here’s your chance.
