As it turns out, it’s not just a My Hero Academia panel Crunchyroll will be bringing to NYCC 2022. Apparently, they’re planning to bring a live rock concert there. You know, just like how Class 1-A did their own rock concert for their school festival?

Time to rock out just like Jiro.

New York Comic-Con for 2022 recently revealed that Crunchyroll will be hosting a My Hero Academia Live Concert Experience. This concert will be in a similar vein to last year’s My Hero Academia Official Live Concert at Anime NYC. This concert will feature a similar experience, where you can listen to an epic rock orchestral arrangement of soundtracks right from the anime.

It’s not just the epic rock versions of the soundtracks that are the draw for this My Hero Academia Live Concert Experience. There are also the guest appearances. The first guest is Yuki Hayashi, who is the feature star of this concert. You might recognize his name from the credits of the anime as the guy who composed all the music for it. He’s travelled all the way from Japan to be at NYCC 2022 for this concert, and he’s determined to give everyone a good show. The second and final noteworthy guest (so far) is Justin Briner. Fans who’ve watched the English dub of the anime will recognize him as the voice of Izuku “Deku” Midoriya. With this duo in play at this concert, I can safely say that it will be a blast. You can find a full description of the concert from NYCC 2022 below:

“A high-energy event featuring a rock band with epic orchestral elements, performing iconic arrangements of the My Hero Academia soundtracks. This concert will feature composer and writer Yuki Hayashi live and in-person, while fans enjoy an electrifying and immersive concert experience. Presented by Crunchyroll.”

My Hero Academia Live Concert Experience: More Details

As a Fullmetal Alchemist fan, I’d recognize Porno Graffiti’s tones anywhere.

As for when this concert will take place? Well, according to NYCC 2022, the My Hero Academia Live Concert Experience will take place on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 8:30 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. The concert will be for that day only, so you don’t want to miss it. You can purchase tickets for that day of NYCC 2022 directly from their official website for $80. If you watch to attend all 4 days, then you can purchase them all for $212.75. The full VIP experience will set you back $502.75, but I think at that point, you’re just spending money for the heck of it.
