There’s no shortage of heroes or unique powers in My Hero Academia. But if heroes from other franchises could enroll at U.A., who would make the cut?

We sat down with My Hero Academia English dub actors Justin Briner (Deku) and Clifford Chapin (Bakugo) and asked who they would want to see take on the hero course.

Briner went with another classic anime hero.

“I’m a big One Piece fan, so I would say let’s bring Luffy in. He’s already basically got a quirk,” Briner said, referencing the character’s stretchable, rubber-like body.

Chapin went in a different direction, choosing a Marvel hero: Miles Morales.

Into the Spider-Verse was fantastic, and they’ve been doing a lot of great stuff with that character,” said Chapin. “I feel like they’re always pushing that character and his powers in so many unique ways in the story. I think it would be really interesting to get to see that explored in an academic setting.”

Both great choices, if you ask us. MHA/One Piece/Marvel crossover WHEN?
