It looks like season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen is underway at long last. To celebrate this, they’ve recently released a new PV trailer giving us all the great highlights from the previous season and from the recent anime film. Check it out below:
The Best Kind of Recap Episode
Crunchyroll recently released that recap PV trailer for Jujutsu Kaisen on YouTube, As you might’ve guessed from watching it and the anime in general: there’s a great deal of action and horror in it. With all the Curses messily attacking people, it’s pretty clear that these Jujutsu Sorcerers need all the power they can get. Even if it has to come from Curses themselves. Fortunately, that makes for some pretty epic fight scenes we can all enjoy. It’s great to know that we’re going to get more fairly soon in the future.
Well, “soon” in a relative sense. While this recap PC trailer does reveal that Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 is going to premiere sometime in 2023, it doesn’t specify exactly when. It could mean anywhere from January to December of next year. Hopefully, Crunchyroll will give us a more specific release date when next year actually rolls around. Tune back in later for that bit of news as soon as we get it.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Details
Jujutsu Kaisen is the anime adaptation of the dark fantasy supernatural adventure manga of the same name by Gege Akutami. MAPPA (Yuri!!! on Ice, Zombie Land Saga, Attack on Titan: The Final Season) is the animation studio behind this anime. Sunghoo Park (The God of High School) is the director, with Hiroaki Matsutani, Makoto Kimura, Toshihiro Maeda, Yoshiaki Takagaki, and Yuriha Murai producing. Hiroshi Seko (Seraph of the End, Attack on Titan, Mob Psycho 100) is the writer, with Hiroaki Tsutsumi, Yoshimasa Terui, and Alisa Okehazama composed the music. Lastly, Crunchyroll licensed the anime for its NA streaming, with Viz Media licensing the same anime for home video release.

“Yuji Itadori is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life. One day, to save a classmate who has been attacked by curses, he eats the finger of Ryomen Sukuna, taking the curse into his own soul. From then on, he shares one body with Ryomen Sukuna. Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Satoru Gojo, Itadori is admitted to Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses… and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a curse to exorcise a curse, a life from which he could never turn back.”
