What a time to be a Star Wars fan. We just finished Star Wars Celebration last week and are now halfway through the amazing Obi-Wan Kenobi series. During Star Wars Celebration, fans were treated to the first trailer for The Bad Batch season 2, but no official release date was given. All that we were told, was Fall 2022. Well today, thanks to a banner on Disney+ it looks like we may finally have a release date.
THE BAD BATCH SEASON 2 RELEASE DATE
The banner which appeared on Disney+ indicates a September 28th date as the release date for Season 2. However, currently, the banner now says “Coming Soon to Disney+”. Whether this means the date is incorrect or was simply released before it was intended, we don’t know.
The September date certainly falls within the Fall 2022 window that was announced previously. The Bad Batch will be joining a jam-packed Star Wars lineup on the streaming platform this Fall. Andor is set to debut in August, and also Tales of The Jedi to also premiere this fall. Until the date is officially announced by Disney, fans will have to make do with the recently released trailer for Season 2.
