Blade Runner: Black Lotus will soon reach its final episode, and Elle will finally have her answers. To amp up the hype for that, Crunchyroll is releasing an exclusive clip of the finale. Check it out below:
Blade Runner: Black Lotus ~ Finale Details
Along with that exclusive finale clip on YouTube above, Crunchyroll is also giving us a premiere date. The 13th and final episode of Blade Runner: Black Lotus will premiere on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 9:00 PM (PT). You can watch this episode on either Crunchyroll or Adult Swim. Note that if you want the free option and don’t mind ads, you’re going to want to check out Crunchyroll. Adult Swim requires a cable subscription before you can watch this anime. Also, Crunchyroll only has the version in the original Japanese audio with English subtitles available for free. The only other option is Spanish dub, and that needs a premium account, which defeats the purpose of watching for free in the first place.
Finale Teaser
As if the exclusive clip wasn’t enough, Crunchyroll also have a teaser for the plot of the finale of Blade Runner: Black Lotus. It takes the form of the final logline for this anime series set in the Blade Runner universe as a whole. It reads:
“Elle has fought her way to the top of the old Tyrell headquarters and is face-to-face with her creator at last. Will Black Lotus find the answers she is seeking? Or will she fall to her mysterious replacement, Water Lily?”
So yeah, it seems like our heroine Elle has some father issues she needs to work out. Possibly this Water Lily too, but she may never get her chance to since she’s too busy fighting Elle on her father’s orders. Guess we’re going to find out how this family issue gets resolved this Saturday.
