Based on the best-selling novella series of the same name by Julia Quinn, takes place during the Regency Era of England as eight siblings of the highly respected Bridgerton family attempt to find love. All while the season is documented by the town’s anonymous gossip queen, Lady Whistledown. The series hit viewers by storm last Christmas as we watched the eldest daughter, Daphne, make her debut into London’s competitive marriage market, and then accidentally fall in love with the Duke of Hastings.

Fans have anxiously awaited the release of season two! Following the books, season 2 will follow the Eldest Bridgerton son, Anthony, on his journey to find love. Originally wanting to find someone suitable and not caring about love, Anthony meets his match in Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley). The oldest daughter of a new family in town who has entered into the marriage fray. Kate is a smart and headstrong woman who isn’t afraid to call Anthony out on his bullsh*t.

Netflix originally released a sneak peek scene between Anthony and Kate. Now, a year to the date of the release of season 1, they drop an official season 2 release date video via the cast! Check out the video below!

I don’t know about you, but I’m more than ready. As a huge fan of the book series, Kate and Anthony’s story is one of my favorites. I love an independent, powerful female lead and Kate checks all the boxes. I cannot wait to see Anthony’s gooped face when he continuously puts him in his place.

Bridgerton season 2 comes to Netflix on March 25, 2022! Stay tuned to That Hashtag Show for more Netflix original series news!
