At last, we’ll find out when the Super Crooks are planning their last big heist. And it’s all thanks to Netflix and their new trailer. Check it out below:

Looks like Ocean’s 11, but with superpowers thrown in.

Netflix really wants to build up the hype for Super Crooks, starting with the new official trailer above. In addition to being the first official trailer this spinoff of Jupiter’s Legacy is getting, Netflix are also taking the opportunity to announce its release date. Apparently, we’ll get to see these superpowered criminals plan and carry out their last heist, one way or another, on November 25, 2021. And of course, it’s a Netflix exclusive. So if you want to watch it, you’ll have to cough up the cash for a Netflix subscription.

Super Crooks: Details

Huh, not quite enough people for Ocean’s 11, but an Ocean’s 8 sounds fine.

So what is Super Crooks about? Well, like I said before, it’s a spinoff series to Jupiter’s Legacy, which is also a Netflix series. As you can tell by the art style and the Japanese dialogue though, this spinoff is in anime form. It will also last a grand total of 13 episodes, just like most anime series. And as the name suggests, there will be criminal activity from people with superpowers. Specifically: one last heist before they officially retire, but well, we all know how that goes by now. The official synopsis from Netflix gives us more details:

“Luck’s never been on their side, but this crew of small-time crooks with super powers recruited by none other than Johnny Bolt are rolling the dice on one last heist. Their target: A ruthless super-powered crime boss…. What can go wrong? Super Crooks is based on the graphic novel of the same name by comic book legend Mark Millar and artist Leinil Yu, directed by Motonobu Hori (Carole & Tuesday) and told in 13x 30-minute episodes produced by renowned Japanese anime studio bones.”
