AMC Reveals Cover Art For ‘The Walking Dead Universe’ Art Book Featuring Cast From Three Shows

This fall, the expansive Walking Dead universe will collide. But this crossover takes place on the page, not on the screen.

The Art of AMC’s The Walking Dead Universe is a special edition hardcover pulling together art and behind-the-scenes details from three different TWD franchise shows (The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, and The Walking Dead: World Beyond). It comes as a joint venture from AMC, Skybound Entertainment, and Image Comics.

The Art of AMC’s The Walking Dead Universe marks the first time the cast members from all three shows have been featured in the same piece of art. Overall, the book includes the artist’s rendition of over 50 stars. And though the book officially releases in the fall, you can get a sneak peek at the cover now. Check it out below:

The art book compiles behind-the-scenes pre-production and production art from all three of AMC’s iconic The Walking Dead series and will feature never-before-seen original sketches, concept art, storyboards, special product illustrations, and more from the shows. It includes an introduction by franchise head Scott M. Gimple, as well as fun facts from creators and crew members.

You can preorder The Art of AMC’s The Walking Dead Universe now. It will launch at comic shops September 29 and everywhere books are sold October 5.
