We are getting some new reports out of the Marvel world today. In a report from Variety it seems that will be seeing a Hawkeye spin-off series for Disney+. According to this report, this series will focus on the deaf Native American superheroine Maya Lopez (Echo). Echo, who can copy another person’s fighting style was the first to use the title Ronin before she passed it on to Clint. Here is what Variety reported on this series.

A show centered on Echo, a deaf Native American character who will be played by Alaqua Cox in the “Hawkeye” series, is in the early stages of development for Disney Plus, Variety has learned exclusively from sources. Etan Cohen and Emily Cohen are attached to write and executive produce the show, with a writers’ room recently being assembled. Marvel Studios will produce.
