Over the past couple of months there have been tons of rumors and speculation around the casting for Marvel’s The Eternals. Angelina Jolie, Kumail Nanjiani and Richard Madden have all been confirmed to be joining the film.  However, an earlier rumor about Millie Bobby Brown may now be confirmed.

MCU Cosmic pointed out that a recent report from Variety stated that Millie Bobby Brown would be at San Diego Comic Con as part of the cast for The Eternals.  Millie is the star of Netflix’s Stranger Things series. You can read a screen shot of that below:

The Millie Bobby Brown rumor…

The original fan rumor started after a set photo of her surfaced. She was visiting the Russo Brothers during the filming of Avengers: Infinity War. She of course denied any involvement with The Eternals. In addition, Kevin Fiege stated that he had no role for her currently in the MCU. However, as fans we know well that there are tons of rumor denials by Marvel to keep any news from getting out until they want it too.

Jeremy Conrad, from MCU Cosmic, definitely hits the nail on the head with regards to her role.  Millie Bobby Brown would most play the role of “Piper”. Piper appears to be MCU’s female version of the Eternal known as Sprite in the comic books. Of course all this is speculation until possibly next week when Marvel’s plans for Phase 4 are finally revealed.
