Prime Video is continuing to prove they are on top when it comes to coming-of-age series. Their latest is Classified, a series we witness the journey of Ella. Ella is a rebellious teenager who undergoes a significant life change when she is relocated from her home in Oakland, California, to live with her estranged father in South Africa.

As Ella adjusts to her new surroundings, she is thrust into a world vastly different from her familiar one. Her new home is characterized by opulent mansions, exclusive private schools, as well as a web of hidden truths waiting to be uncovered at every turn.

Classified follows rebellious teenager Ella (Pullum) as she is uprooted from her home in Oakland, California and forced to move in with her estranged father in South Africa. Upon arrival, Ella’s world is turned upside down as she navigates a very different reality than what she has known – one full of mansions, elite private schools, and secrets around every corner.

Classified stars Imani Pullum (The Orville), Christine Horne (The Fallout), and Sule Rimi (Andor). The show is created by Kagiso Lediga. The series is from Skybound Galactic, as well as a joint venture between Robert Kirkman’s Skybound Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television, and Johannesburg-based producer Diprente.

All eight episodes will be available on August 22, 2024, exclusively on Prime Video and Freevee!
