With all of the controversies surrounding Star Wars: Battlefront II, fans are anxiously awaiting to see what Jedi: Fallen Order will bring. The teaser trailer EA and Respawn Entertainment delivered at Star Wars Celebration in April was certainly enticing. Likewise, the Fallen Order artwork we’ve seen thus far has been impressive. Thanks to a tweet from the official Star Wars twitter account, we now have a preview of the box art for the upcoming game.

There’s a lot to digest in the new Fallen Order artwork. First, we see the game’s protagonist wielding a damaged lightsaber. We first saw the weapon in the very first teaser images for the game (as seen below). As the game’s official website explains, “[a]fter narrowly escaping the Jedi purge, you’re on a quest to rebuild your fallen Order. Pick up the pieces of your shattered past and complete your Jedi training, all while staying one step ahead of the Empire and its deadly Inquisitors.”

What’s Revealed in New Fallen Order Artwork

Aided by a former Jedi Knight, a prickly pilot, and a fearless droid companion, you must escape the sinister machinations of the Imperial forces in this story driven adventure.”

We can probably, safely assume that the “fearless droid companion” is the Wall-E-esque droid peeking out from behind protagonist Cal Kestis. Actor Cameron Monaghan (Gotham; Shameless) brings Cal to life in the new game. Joining him on the new Fallen Order artwork is who we believe to be Ceres, a female Jedi and mentor to Cal. The fact that the character in the new Fallen Order artwork just happens to be holding a Jedi Holocron makes that believe a pretty safe bet. Whether the blaster-wielding alien is the “prickly pilot” remains to be seen… but it’s probable.

EA and Respawn Entertainment will showcase the game at this weekend’s E3 Convention, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store. If the trailer and new Fallen Order artwork are any indication, we won’t be disappointed.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order arrives November 15.
