EA, Lucasfilm, and Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is set for release sometime next year. Details for the game have been scarce, but a Reddit post has shined some details about what to expect for the video game.

Reddit user Xyzsvtabc posted a thread with details surrounding the new game from a marketing event they attended. From the information they posted, Jedi Fallen Order is going to be taking place 5 years after Revenge Of the Sith. The game’s story will revolve around the main character Cal. Cal, however, is not alone. Joining him in his adventures is a another character, Ceres. Ceres is going to be a female mentor figure to Cal in the game.

The leak also mentions that characters from the Rebels animated series and the comics will be making appearances in the game. And that could be huge because of the fact that not many of the characters from the Rebels series or any of the comic series have yet to show up in Battlefront 2. so this game could give Respawn the chance to play around with those characters.

Jedi Fallen Order Set for Late 2019 Release

At this past E3 game-makers teased the game’s “Jedi Fallen Order” title, but no details about it were released. It seems now that they are targeting a Holiday 2019 release for the game; more specifically likely late November. If all of these leaked details do end up being real, then this game could be one of the better Star Wars games that have been made.

The Game Awards are later this week. However, chances of the game makers showing Jedi Fallen Order off at the awards?  Those chances are probably very low. The game had only just been mentioned about six months ago. Therefore, E3 2019 would be the perfect time to debut videos and stills from the game.

I’m excited for this game for because it’s something different than what EA usually releases. Plus, we haven’t explored anything that happened the years after Revenge Of The Sith. This video game could very well fill in those gaps and explain what happened in the years following Order 66.
