Immediately following the airing of the final episode of Game of Thrones, HBO subscribers were treated to a brief announcement of more GOT spinoff shows coming in 2021.
Game of Thrones Sequel SPOILERS!
Unlike the previous announced spin-off, based on an prequel George R. R. Martin book that takes place ”thousands of years before A Song of Ice And Fire,” these series will be a direct continuation of the hit HBO series Game of Thrones. The sequels will follow the remaining Stark children as they make their way in a new, tumultuous Westeros (and beyond).
“West of Westeros”
Following the events of Game of Thrones, Arya travels far west of Westeros. Eventually she finds the sunny beaches of California. There she also finds herself crushing on a cute lifeguard who works at an seaside resort to LA’s wealthy teens. Getting a job as a camp councilor to “uncool” kids, it’s up to Arya and her talking pet sword “Needle” to make hunky head life guard, Chad, fall in in love with her while teaching a lesson about the real meaning of “cool”.
“The Broken Hearts Club”
King Bran “The Broken” has found love and, after a romantic proposal, the biggest wedding in Westeros is just days away. Arguable the star of Game of Thrones, Tyrion, being Tyrion, convinces Bran he needs to leave bachelorhood in style. Hilarity ensues after a crazy night of drinking in the coolest Las Vegas clubs. That’s when the Hand of The King realizes they’ve lost their Wheelchair bound ruler!!! It’s up to him and his cronies to get their comatose King to the Red-Keep on time.
Game of Thrones Sequel: “Fallen Snow”
Fallen Snow is a change of pace from the other lighthearted, Game of Thrones spin-offs. The hottest new political drama hits the screen as Jon Snow is drawn back to Westeros. What brings him back, you ask? Drogon, (who, as we saw in the finale episode, has a deep understanding of political machinations), is back and trying to con his way into the newly democratic King’s Landing. Jon Snow has to come out of retirement and master the ins-and-outs of Westerosi politics in order to slay this dragon- not with a sword- but with a ballot.
“Queen of The North”
Queen Sansa is a no-nonsense, all work and no play, ruler. But even she knows there must be more to life in this spin on the High School musical genra. So when her BFF, played by non-other than Taylor Swift in her first starring role, steals her away for a night on the town she goes from solitary to socialite! Now suitors are constantly blowing up her cell with the big Winter(fall) formal dance coming up. What’s the tough Game of Thrones Queen to do?! Heavy is the crown of Queen Sansa, especially when set to the music and dance of today’s hottest hip-hop and dance numbers!
We can’t wait for these spin-offs. Can you?
(It should go without saying that this article is SATIRE If Not, Arya would probably stab Chad through the eye with Needle. Regardless, we hope you at least got a little chuckle.)
