Along with debuting the English dub of Ep. 1000 of One Piece, Cruchyroll at Anime Expo 2023 also made an interesting announcement. According to them, said English dub of this iconic anime based on the manga of the same name by Eiichiro Oda will set sail to Crunchyroll. Thus, now you can listen to the Straw Hat Pirates speak in both Japanese or English, depending on your tastes.
So when will we be able to watch One Piece in English? Well, as of this writing: right now. Crunchyroll debuted the English dub of this anime on July 5, 2023. The English dub debut on Crunchyroll will roll out in scheduled batches in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. So if you live in any of those territories, you’re good. All you need is a paid Crunchyroll subscription, and then you too can watch and listen to the Straw Hat Pirates speaking in English.
