Beyond Fest, the highest-attended genre film festival in the US, returns this year with an incredible 2021 slate. The lineup includes 8 world premieres, 4 US premieres, and 17 west coast premieres.
The 10-day festival running from September 29 – October 11 will see the US premiere of Halloween Kills, among other much-anticipated releases. Other Beyond Fest highlights include the west coast premiere of Palme d’Or winner Titane on 35mm; the world premiere of the newly discovered, never-before-finished New York Ninja; a 4K restoration of Stanley Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange for the film’s 50th anniversary; and a salute to four-time Academy Award nominee Michael Mann.
Screenings for Beyond Fest will take place at the Legion Theatre, the Aero Theatre, and the Los Feliz 3. Ticket sales benefit the American Cinematheque, a 501c3 non-profit film institution. Attendance requires proof of vaccination, and Guests will be required to wear masks at all times.
