Season 3 of Netflix’s Bridgerton series is one of the most highly anticipated shows of the year! So, in honor of the opulent third season of Bridgerton, Netflix and Shondaland organized a special fan event to unveil exciting updates about the forthcoming season.
The panel unveiled episode titles, exclusive character photos, confirmation of book-to-episode adaptations, a surprise fan wedding announcement, as well as a sneak peek of the season premiere.
“Usually we’re meeting a new person who’s falling in love with one of our regulars,” said Shonda Rhimes when asked about what excites her most this season. “But this time, we know the people who are falling in love. We’re already rooting for them because we already know them, and I’m excited for that.”
My excitement for Bridgerton season 3 knows no bounds! As a book reader, as well as a huge fan of the series, I’m very excited to see my 3rd favorite storyline come to life. I’m hoping they do it better justice than Anthony and Kate and bring it back around to the magic of season 1.
So, the 8-episode season will drop Part 1 on May 16 and Part 2 on June 13!

MORE ABOUT SEASON 3
In the third season of Bridgerton, Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) has finally let go of her long-standing crush on Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) after hearing his hurtful words about her in the previous season. Determined to secure her independence and continue her secret life as Lady Whistledown, Penelope sets her sights on finding a husband who will support her ambitions. However, her lack of confidence leads to disastrous attempts in the marriage market.
Meanwhile, Colin returns from his summer travels with a newfound confidence and a striking new appearance. Disheartened by Penelope’s cold treatment towards him, Colin is eager to regain her friendship. He offers to mentor Penelope in building her self-assurance and finding a suitable husband this season. However, as Colin’s guidance starts to have unexpected effects, he must confront his own feelings for Penelope. Are they truly platonic?
Then, adding to Penelope’s challenges is her strained relationship with Eloise (Claudia Jessie), who has found an unlikely friend. As Penelope’s presence in high society grows, it becomes increasingly difficult for her to keep her identity as Lady Whistledown a secret. The intertwining storylines explore the complexities of friendship, self-discovery, and the struggle to maintain hidden identities in the vibrant world of the ton.
