Netflix has taken an unconventional approach to teasing Bridgerton season 3. This time, they’re breaking the usual pattern of releasing first-look images or teaser trailers. In an unexpected move, Netflix has provided fans with an extensive sneak peek into the highly anticipated Polin season. It’s an exciting development that has generated significant anticipation among fans of the series, like myself.

In the third season of Bridgerton, Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) has finally let go of her long-standing crush on Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) after hearing his hurtful words about her in the previous season. Determined to secure her independence and continue her secret life as Lady Whistledown, Penelope sets her sights on finding a husband who will support her ambitions. However, her lack of confidence leads to disastrous attempts in the marriage market.

Meanwhile, Colin returns from his summer travels with a newfound confidence and a striking new appearance. Disheartened by Penelope’s cold treatment towards him, Colin is eager to regain her friendship. He offers to mentor Penelope in building her self-assurance and finding a suitable husband this season. However, as Colin’s guidance starts to have unexpected effects, he must confront his own feelings for Penelope. Are they truly platonic?

Adding to Penelope’s challenges is her strained relationship with Eloise (Claudia Jessie), who has found an unlikely friend. As Penelope’s presence in high society grows, it becomes increasingly difficult for her to keep her identity as Lady Whistledown a secret. The intertwining storylines explore the complexities of friendship, self-discovery, and the struggle to maintain hidden identities in the vibrant world of the ton.

My excitement for Bridgerton season 3 knows no bounds! As a Bridgerton book reader and a huge fan of the series, I’m very excited to see my 3rd favorite storyline come to life. I’m hoping they do it better justice than Anthony and Kate and bring it back around to the magic of season 1.

The 8-episode season will drop Part 1 on May 16 and Part 2 on June 13!
