WATCH TO WATCH: THEATRE RELEASES
AQUAMAN AND THE LOST KINGDOM
It’s time to say goodbye to the current version of the DCEU. The Aquaman sequel marks the finale of the DCEU in its current form, as James Gunn is now developing a whole new entire Universe. Our THS review called it an entertaining film and praised the relationship between Arthur (Jason Momoa) and Orm (Patrick Wilson)
The absolute highlight of this film is the relationship between Orm and Arthur. Momoa and Wilson have a dynamic chemistry that drives the entire film. That makes sense because the story really follows them growing together as brothers.

What’s it about?: After failing to defeat Aquaman the first time, Black Manta wields the power of the mythic Black Trident to unleash an ancient and malevolent force. Hoping to end his reign of terror, Aquaman forges an unlikely alliance with his brother, Orm, the former king of Atlantis. Setting aside their differences, they join forces to protect their kingdom and save the world from irreversible destruction.

THE IRON CLAW
Zac Efron stars in the biographical sports film based on the life of professional wrestler Kevin Von Erich and the Von Erich family. The family was a dynasty of professional wrestlers in the 1980s who had enormous success and a multitude of personal tragedies. Our THS review called it the greatest pro wrestling movie ever and a star-making moment for Efron.
It is an absolute tearjerker, but not in the way you’d think. It’s not just a non-stop flow of sadness. Unlike previous pro wrestling movies, The Iron Claw actually does a magnificent job of conveying just how tragic this story is but leaves the audience with a feeling of serenity. What helps that feeling is that this movie is led by one of the best performances of the year from Zac Efron as Kevin Von Erich.
