While many of us were still enjoying the high from last week’s episode, today it was time to see if that high would continue. Today’s episode Ahsoka: Far, Far Away was exactly that “Far, Far Away from the last one but no too far to make it a bad story. So once again I will give you all a quick review without trying to spoil too much. Now I will warn you, I’m not going to drop names with certain things but you already know what this series is about.

Ahsoka: Far, Far Away Review

Once again Jedi Master Dave Filoni gave us a great story. While it was not as action-packed as the last episode, it once again had some holy s*it moments. Once again we picked up right where we left off. Ahsoka and Huyang riding inside a space whale and Morgan Elsbeth, Baylan Skoll, Shin Hati, and Sabine heading into the unknown to find Thrawn. Once the ride stops for Morgan Elsbeth and crew we are taken to a far new world that just may contain some familiar faces.

Now I won’t get too much into these familiar faces. But one of them couldn’t have been done any better to reintroduce them into a Star Wars story. The other, while I was excited to see this character, there was just something about it that felt off. You will know what I am talking about after.

Another thing I really liked about this is we get a little more into Baylan Skoll. It is heartwrenching though because I keep wanting more about this fallen Jedi but with the tragic passing of Ray Stevenson it will have to be in the books or comics. Also during this episode, we are introduced to some new interesting characters and creatures. Heck, we even got a new baby creature to talk about.

So, without spoiling anything to you all I’m going to stop here. Once again we got a great episode and Filoni’s work is not disappointing. The sad thing is knowing that there are only two episodes left.
