Despite all the changes happening at DC Studios, it appears that Gal Gadot still has hope for Wonder Woman 3. There’s a third film, you might ask? Well, not yet, but Gadot hopes there will be. In fact, from what Gadot is hearing, it seems that James Gunn and Peter Safran might also hope that there will be a third film too. Cross our fingers, folks?

Gal Gadot’s Hope for Wonder Woman 3: Details

Comic Book has just reported on some interesting news about Wonder Woman 3. You know, in spite of the news from December 2022 that said third entry in the Wonder Woman film series had “fallen apart”? Well, as it turns out, Gal Gadot herself just attended an interview with Comic Book in which she mentions something very interesting she heard about that trequel. In fact, you can read Gadot’s exact words for yourself below:

I love portraying Wonder Woman. It’s so close to and dear to my heart. From what I heard from James and from Peter is that we’re gonna develop a Wonder Woman 3 together.

This information alone, despite being only 2 sentences long, reveals some very interesting details. The implication is that production for Wonder Woman 3 hadn’t actually “fallen apart”, but rather, James Gunn and Peter Safran were taking control of the film themselves. Why? Unfortunately, we don’t know, and Gal Gadot doesn’t have anything more to give us on that subject.

The rest of the interview does reveal that we’re going to get a Wonder Woman prequel/spin-off called Paradise Lost. Apparently, it’s an upcoming HBO Max series “full of intrigue set amongst the Amazons on Themiscyra”. Lastly, James Gunn hinted that he wants to make a Wonder Woman animated series, but it doesn’t even have a title yet, so who knows how long that’s going to take. Alas, this is all the Wonder Woman news we have for you for today. Tune back in to THS later to find out more Wonder Woman 3 news, or Wonder Woman news in general, when we hear about it.
