Now that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is out, it’s time to look ahead to a sequel. There’s still more story to tell, and we’d love to see EA incorporate many of these characters as they’d naturally extend the universe of the game and help connect it to the larger Star Wars mythos.

THE FOLLOWING CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR STAR WARS JEDI: SURVIVOR AND STAR WARS JEDI: FALLEN ORDER

Obi-Wan Kenobi

Obi-Wan Kenobi Star Wars Jedi Survivor Sequel

With the passing of Cere, we think that Cal will need all the support he can get in battling the Empire. Hearing that Obi-Wan survived could put Cal on a trajectory with the Jedi Master for guidance and training. There was even a clothing option in Survivor that paid homage to Obi-Wan.

Maybe Obi-Wan can give Cal a mission, some new force abilities, or even accompany him on a mission. Either way, we think that Obi-Wan is needed to help Cal unlock his true potential as a Jedi Master.

Darth Vader

Darth Vader Star Wars Jedi Survivor Sequel

This is a cheat in a way as the Dark Lord Of The Sith has now appeared in both Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor. We think he’s due to appear in a Star Wars Jedi: Survivor sequel.

That said in both he was essentially a glorified cameo. In the 3rd game, he should be a persistent threat throughout the game. Think Mr. X or Nemesis from Resident Evil. There should be more urgency in these games as we are dealing with the Empire and Vader hunting down the Jedi. Still with very few exceptions this hasn’t felt like the case.

Also, there is the fact that Cal has never appeared in a post-Jedi Survivor timeline. While EA could give us a reason or way for Cal to hide. He doesn’t seem like the type to do that. A noble sacrifice in a final fight with Vader seems far more fitting and could make for an epic cap for the game series.

Han Solo and Chewbacca

Han Solo and Chewbacca Star Wars Jedi Survivor Sequel

Jedi Survivor takes place 9 years before the Battle for Yavin. It’s not hard to see a third Jedi game taking place 4 or 5 years before the Battle for Yavin. This could easily be a perfect time to bring in Han and Chewbacca. Solo: A Star Wars Story took place 10-13 years before Yavin so this is a time ripe to tell more stories with these characters as there are stories and missions that these two undoubtedly went on that we never got to see.

In Survivor we see that Cal is working with other Mercenaries to take down the empire. It would be easy to put Han and Chewbacca in as another pair of mercenaries that signs up to help Cal.

Any Of The Memorable Bounty Hunters

Bounty Hunters Star Wars Jedi Survivor Sequel

Jedi Fallen Order and Survivor both feature Bounty Hunters as mini-bosses. That being said are we to believe that the likes of Boba Fett, IG-88, Cad Bane, Bossk, Dengar, Greedo, or Black Krrsantan never picked up a contract to take down Cal? I get that Respawn wants to design their own Bounty Hunters but throw in a few battles with some memorable Bounty Hunters. Also what better way for Cal to prove his mettle than to defeat some of the most dangerous Bounty Hunters in the Galaxy?

Darth Maul

Darth Maul Star Wars Jedi Survivor Sequel

While Obi-Wan would be a good mentor for Cal, it would be interesting to see Cal learn from and eventually fight against Darth Maul. Maul can be a villain at times, sometimes an Anti-Hero; his path isn’t always the simplest, but that’s why we enjoy him so much. Recent shows and other projects paint him in a more complex fashion than we ever saw in The Phantom Menace. Regardless of how he’s used, it would be a great way to bridge the gap between Solo and when he meets his end in Rebels.

Emperor Palpatine / Darth Sidious

With multiple mentions throughout both games, it would also be a crime if we never got to see Palpatine (aka Darth Sidious) in the third game. While I doubt they’d have you fight him, it would be nice for a face-to-face meeting between Cal and the person ultimately responsible for the path his life is on.
