Sony Pictures Animation has revealed a new official trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The new trailer gives fans a look at the many spider-people that make up the Spider-Verse. The trailer begins with a look at The Spot (Jason Schwartzman), who figures to play heavily into the multiverse hopping story. Audiences are also given a longer look at Miguel O’Hara aka Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Issac). In the trailer, O’Hara, questions Miles and what he would do when presented with making a sacrifice. Saving a single person he loves, or saving the entire universe. As fans know, sacrifice, as well as loss, are major components of all big Spider-Man stories and characters. It will be interesting to see how this theme plays out in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The highly anticipated film will swing into theaters on June 2.
