The Daniels are fresh off winning multiple Academy Awards for Everything Everywhere All At Once, and now they’re heading to a galaxy far, far away. According to our friends at One Take News, they’ll be directing an episode of the upcoming Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.

Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert directed Everything Everywhere All At Once and the 2016 film Swiss Army Man. They started their career with music videos like ‘Turn Down For What’. Skeleton Crew is the latest show for the Star Wars Disney+ universe like The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Ahsoka. Jude Law stars in the series from Jon Watts. Star Wars: Skeleton Crew was officially announced at Star Wars Celebration 2022 with Jude Law confirmed to star.

Skeleton Crew tells the story of four kids who find themselves lost in in the vastness of the galaxy trying to find their way home.

It was created by Jon Watts, Jon Favreau, and Dave Filoni. It’s set to premiere later this year on Disney+.
