Tomo-chan is a Girl! is a rather hilarious romantic comedy for those looking for an anime to watch over Valentine’s Day with their loved one. I’m also pretty sure they’re aware of this too. How else do you explain them making a brand new trailer just in time for February 14? Don’t believe me? Then why don’t you check it out for yourself below?

Tomo-chan is a Girl Celebrating Valentine’s Day?!

She’s trying real hard to get out of that friendzone, but as you can tell by her expression, it’s not quite working.

As you can see in that YouTube trailer, Tomo-chan is a Girl! is an anime all about a tomboy girl trying to get out of the friendzone she has with her not-yet-boyfriend. As you can see though, the titular Tomo Aizawa isn’t having much luck. Not with the depleted uranium-dense head Junichiro Kubota has. If even a direct love confession from Tomo can’t get through that skull, I don’t know what will.

That trailer isn’t all that Tomo-chan is a Girl! has for us today though. Just to celebrate Valentine’s Day, the anime has 4 Valentine’s Day cards featuring the main characters to show off. You can clearly tell that they mean for you to download it and print it out if you want based on the blank spaces next to the “To” and “From” options. You can check out all 4 cards below:

'Tomo-chan is a Girl!' Tomo Aizawa Valentine's Day card.
I wonder how many Valentine’s Day chocolates Tomo has to give Junichiro before he gets it?
'Tomo-chan is a Girl!' Junichiro Kubota Valentine's Day card.
Clearly, this is a boy who believes Valentine’s Day chocolates is only for the girls to give.
'Tomo-chan is a Girl!' Misuzu Gundou Valentine's Day card.
Part of me wonders if she wants to give that chocolate to Tomo, with all that it implies.
'Tomo-chan is a Girl!' Carol Olston Valentine's Day card.
I can’t tell if she’s giving the chocolate, or if she wants to snack on it.

Curious? Then you can check out all currently available episodes (6 as of this writing) of Tomo-chan is a Girl! only on Crunchyroll.
