A Good Person is an upcoming film by Zach Braff (Garden State) starring Morgan Freeman (Bruce Almighty) as well as Florence Pugh (Don’t Worry Darling).
Daniel (Morgan Freeman) is brought together with Allison (Florence Pugh), the once thriving young woman with a bright future who was involved in an unimaginable tragedy that took his daughter’s life. As grief-stricken Daniel navigates raising his teenage granddaughter and Allison seeks redemption, they discover that friendship, forgiveness, and hope can flourish in unlikely places.

So, in the trailer, we see Allison (Pugh) is engaged to Daniel’s (Freeman) son. Then, while driving on the freeway Allison gets into a horrible accident, and Daniel’s daughter does not make it. So, Daniel loses a daughter and is now raising his granddaughter. Allison loses her fiance, as well as finds solace in pills.
After hitting a moment of rock bottom, Allison ends up in the same AA meeting as Daniel. Instead of letting her leave, Daniel tells her to stay. It seems through more ups and downs a friendship is rekindled and the two help each other begin to heal.
Starring alongside Pugh and Freeman are Molly Shannon, Chinaza Uche, as well as Celeste O’Connor. A Good Person is written and directed by Zach Braff.
