Announced at the Game Awards, Baldur’s Gate 3 has an official release month.

The game is releasing in August, but Larian has yet to say when exactly in August it will release. But this trailer shows off a lot of what to expect from the game. And included in the game will be:

  • Minsc & Jaheira: Two beloved Baldur’s Gate legends re-join the fray after 20+ years.
  • City of Baldur’s Gate: Catch a first gameplay glimpse at the game’s namesake, one of the most prosperous and influential cities of Faerûn.

But, Larian also showed off the collector’s edition of the game:

This huge collector’s edition has a lot of stuff coming with it, including:

  • Mindflayer vs. Drow Battle Diorama
  • Hardcover Art Book
  • Character Sheets
  • Cloth Map
  • Tadpole Keyring
  • Stickers
  • Magic: The Gathering Booster Packs
  • Collector’s Edition Certificate
  • Baldur’s Gate 3 D20

A PC Digital Download for the game will also be included with the collector’s edition. This is priced at $269.99, and is limited to 25,000 units worldwide.

Meanwhile, on the 14, the year’s end Panel From Hell will be streaming live on Larien’s Twitch Channel. Game Awards and Summer Game Fest Creator/Host Geoff Keighley will join the stream. They will be talking about both The Game Awards announcement. And there will be news about what’s to come when Patch 9 releases. And a new class will be launched with this new patch.

Panel From Hell: Holy Knight will stream on December 14th at 10 AM PT.
