The Game Awards are part celebration of everything gaming related in 2022, part looks ahead at what’s to come. Here’s everything that was announced at the event. It seems like there’s more announcements than a normal year with plenty of AAA games given first looks, trailers, and more.

Hades 2 Announced With Brand New Gameplay Trailer

Hideo Kojima’s ambitious post-apocalyptic epic is getting a sequel, featuring the return of Norman Reedus as Sam and Lea Seydoux as Fragile.

New Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Trailer Gives Us A New Look At Cal Kestis

The premiere of Jedi Survivor’s gameplay and story trailer showcases more on the themes and combat, coming March 17, 2023. This game picks up five years after the original, with Cal Kestis a more powerful Jedi. However, the Empire has gotten stronger as well.

Street Fighter 6 Is Coming June 2023

Get a look at the new roster coming for Street Fighter 6 in 2023. The game releases on June 2nd, 2023.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Features Kevin Conroy’s Last Voice Performance

Tekken 8 Brings Back A Seemingly Dead Character

The new trailer for Tekken 8 showed off the return of Jun Kazama, the mother of longtime protagonist Jin Kazama. Although she died in Tekken 2, she’s back from the dead in the new trailer. Alongside other returning characters in King, Paul, Lars, Marshall Law, and Jack-8, this one comes out next year.

Earthblade Is The Newest Game From Celeste Creator

Celeste creator Maddy Makes Games showed off their follow-up to the critically acclaimed game; the Metroidvania-style Earthblade. The game features Celete’s classic pixel-art look as you explore it’s sprawling world and melancholic tone. This one is coming in 2024.

Bayonetta Origins: Cereza And The Lost Demon Brings The Story Full Circle

Bayonetta 3 only came out in October, but the series continues on with a new spin-off. This one comes out on the Nintendo Switch on March 17th, 2023.

Hellboy Gets Wyrd With Web Of Wyrd

Hellboy Web of Wyrd is a rogue-lite action adventure with an original story created in partnership with Dark Horse Comics and creator Mike Mignola. Featuring monstrous toe-to-toe brawling, you need to chain together hard-hitting melee and ranged attacks to fight a diverse array of increasingly nightmarish enemies.

Like the comics, the game sends Hellboy on a series of vastly different and wholly unique adventures. The Last Of Us Part 1 Is Coming To PC In March 2023

Armored Core Gets The FromSoftware Treatment

FromSoftware is bringing back Armored Core in all of its glory! It’s been years since a prior Armored Core game, and it will be extremely exciting to see how modern FromSoftware handles the classic mech franchise after smash hits like Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Elden Ring. Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon releases sometime in 2023.
