After showing a really awesome trailer at SDCC, we have to wait a little longer for Paramount Pictures’ D&D movie. Deadline has reported Dungeons And Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and Scream 6 have swapped places in an odd movie switch. Paramount Pictures did not give a reason, but it seems weird to suddenly switch these films.

Especially since we just started to get marketing for the film as recently as the SDCC trailer. And Hasbro has started to already reveal the merchandise for the film. And the two prequel books from Penguin Random House and the prequel comic from IDW Comics have also been recently revealed.

But moving this is also bad in a way. A few other films are releasing as well, including:

  • Spinning Gold from Variance Films
  • Heart Of A Lion from Sony Pictures
  • A Good Person from United Artists Releasing
  • A Thousand And One from Focus Features

Now, since this not releasing for a few more months, Paramount can eventually release another trailer really showing the world the film will be in. And Hasbro will be showing off more merch in the coming months in the lead-up to the film’s full theatrical release.

But for right now, we have to wait just a little longer for the film to get its theatrical release.
