Are you looking for new releases in Film or Television to watch this weekend of October 6th!? Well, THS has you covered in our weekly series! So, make sure to come back each week as we compile all of our recommendations for you to check out on your days off. 

However, I wanted to break down this list and make it a little more personal. Kind of like when you walk into a bookstore and see the wall of employee recommendations. So, I’ll be breaking down this list as to what we at THS are watching, not necessarily every single thing releasing.

I’m excited for Mike Flanagan to return for another horror series on NetflixThe Midnight Club. I’ll be binging that, plus heading to the theater to see Cate Blanchett in Tár.

LAURA’S WATCHING

Chucky season 2 on SyFy! Some more New Girl on Hulu.

SHAWN’S WATCHING

This weekend, I plan on taking all of my friends who love horror and shocking the hell out of them with “Terrifier 2”. I also recommend that everyone checks out the first four episodes of “A Friend of the Family” on Peacock“. True Crime fans are going to love that series!

BRIAN’S WATCHING

Chucky season 2 on SyFy!

TRAVIS IS WATCHING

I’ll be watching the latest episode of She-Hulk on Disney+ to see if “you know who” finally makes an appearance. I will also be catching up on House of The Dragon on HBOMax and turning up my TV brightness to watch last week’s episode.

SARAH’S WATCHING

I’m ready for The Midnight Club on Netflix! A Haunting of Hillhouse for teens, I’m all in. I’m also going to check out the new Mila Kunis Netflix film, Luckiest Girl Alive.

LINSAY’S WATCHING

The Good Fight, House of the Dragon, and Pennyworth season 3 premiere on HBOMax, She-Hulk on Disney+, all the Law and Orders, as well as See on AppleTV!

RHETT’S WATCHING

I’m going to see The Woman King in theaters. Then, Andor and Werewolf by Night on Disney+.
