Today during its Tudum event, Netflix released the first trailer for Enola Holmes 2. The film will see Mille Bobby Brown reprise her role as Enola. Henry Cavil will also return as Sherlock, the older brother of Enola. The first film debuted in September 2020 and quickly became a hit for the streaming platform. Its quick success led to the sequel being ordered. Enola Holmes 2 will premiere on November 4, 2022. The trailer gives fans a first look at what to expect from the upcoming sequel.

A NEW MYSTERY AWAITS ENOLA HOLMES
In the new trailer, we find that Enola Holmes has started her own detective agency, However, between the fact that she is “a girl” and her brother is Sherlock, it proves challenging to find a case to prove herself. Eventually, a mystery arrives for Enola to solve, one that finds her crossing paths were her famous older brother. In addition to Brown and Cavil, Helena Bonham Carter is also returning as the Holmes matriarch, Eudoria Holmes. Louis Partridge will again appear as Viscount Tewkesbury and potential romantic interest for Enola. Other cast members include Sharon Duncan-Brewster, David Thewlis, Susan Wokoma, and Adeel Akhtar. One notable absence not returning from the first film is Sam Claflin who played Enola’s other older brother, Mycroft. Harry Bradbeer, who helmed the first film is once again in the directors’ chair for the sequel.
