It’s an exciting day, Disney and The Simpsons fans! At D23, the ultimate Dinsey Fan event the cast and creative team for The Simpsons announced that season 33 of the hit animated series will stream on Disney+ beginning October 5th!
On top of this announcement, Welcome Club, a new short from The Simpsons was also released on the streaming service for Dinsey+ Day! It has definitely been a The Simpsons fan dream couple of days.
WELCOME TO THE CLUB
In Welcome to the Club, Lisa has her heart set on having the ultimate princess transformation. However, after meeting some of Disney’s most notorious villains, Lisa is surprised to learn that being bad…just might be more fun.
Welcome to the Club is the latest in a collection of shorts from The Simpsons created exclusively for Disney+. These shorts highlight the services’ marquee brands and most popular content. The previous short, When Billie Met Lisa was even nominated for Outstanding Short Form Animated Program at the 2022 Emmy® Awards.

It has been named the “Best Show of the 20th Century” by Time Magazine, called the “Greatest American Sitcom” by Entertainment Weekly in 2013, and declared “The Best TV Show Ever” in 2016 by vulture.com.
