With the highly anticipated release of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series less than two weeks away the excitement for this series is like no other. But, as we all know the excitement does not end there. With live-action series like Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka, The Mandalorian, and The Acolyte fans have plenty to get excited about. While we do know these series are on their way, they are still shrouded by mystery. Well, thanks to an article from Vanity Fair we did at least get a clearer timeline on when these live-action series will be heading our way.

The Star Wars LIneup Is Strong With The Force

With the success of The Mandalorian Seasons 1 and 2 and The Book of Boba Fett, we all can’t help being greedy and wanting more and knowing when we are getting it. In an article from Vanity Fair, we finally got the official outline (not release dates) of the upcoming live-action Star Wars series heading our way starting with the Obi-Wan Kenobi series.

“First up is Ewan McGregor’s return to his role as a weary Jedi master in exile. Obi-Wan Kenobi debuts May 27, tracking the character 10 years into his time on the desert world of Tatooine, where he serves as a distant guardian to young Luke Skywalker and is hunted by a dark side “Inquisitor” named Reva (played by The Queen’s Gambit’s Moses Ingram). Luna’s spy saga, Andor, hits screens late this summer. Season three of The Mandalorian, reuniting Pedro Pascal’s helmeted gunfighter with his little green ward (you know who), drops in late 2022 or early 2023. Next year, Rosario Dawson will lead the series Ahsoka, playing the live-action version of a fan-favorite Force wielder from animation who was once an apprentice to Anakin Skywalker. Slightly further off is The Acolyte, with a tale set about a century before the era of the Skywalkers.”

So even without dates, it is still exciting to see what order things are heading our way. Also, remember this article is talking about the live-action side of things. We still have The Bad Batch, Tales of the Jedi, and more to add to that time. On top of all this, fans should expect to learn more about these and future series at this year’s Star Wars Celebration.
