Are you looking for new releases in Film or Television to watch this weekend of May 13th!? Well, THS has you covered in our weekly series! So, make sure to come back each week as we compile all of our recommendations for you to check out on your days off.

However, I wanted to break down this list and make it a little more personal. Kind of like when you walk into a book store and see the wall of employee recommendations. So, I’ll be breaking down this list as to what we at THS are watching, not necessarily every single thing releasing. So, first up Jessica!

I’m checking out The Essex Serpent on Apple TV+ with Tom Hiddleston and Claire Danes. I’ve also been making my way through the Hitchcock collection on Peacock. Oh, and I need to catch up on the new episodes of The Circle on Netflix (it’s pretty much the only reality TV show I enjoy).

After seeing Firestarter I’m in the mood for another film about kids with superpowers. I’m going to be watching The Innocents, while it’s only a limited release in theaters you can also stream it on Google play!

There is so much coming out this weekend I’ve been dying to watch! I’m definitely checking out the new Firestarter. Knowing that Christina Ricci has a new film out I’ll definitely be hunting that one down. Then, I’ll probably cool it down with a comedy and check out Senior Year on Netflix! Dive into drama with Conversations with Friends on Hulu AND The Time Traveler’s Wife on HBOMAx. And finally, I really want to check out the first episode of The Quest on Disney+!

I’m sticking to my tried and true and watching the Better Call Saul Season Finale like usual. Then, I’m going through the Disney+ Galleries for the Book of Boba Fett.

I’m going to watch Greyhound on Apple TV+. I’ve just gotten access to it, and that’s one WWII movie I’ve been dying to watch

The Quest on Disney+ is here!! I’m definitely going to be checking that out!

My wife has started Bridgerton season 2 and I’m mad that I now have a favorite Bridgeton sibling. I’m also going to watch The Essex Serpent (Tom Hiddleston, Claire Daines) on AppleTV+

Based on Stephen King’s 1980 novel of the same name, Firestarter is a sci-fi horror film about parents Andy (Zac Efron) and Vicky (Sydney Lemmon), who have been on the run for over a decade in attempts to hide and protect their daughter, Charlie (Ryan Kiera), who has extraordinary pyrokinetic powers that have caught the eye of a shadowy federal agency looking to harness her gift to turn her into a massively destructive weapon and human puppet.
